This week we are stitching part of the decorative border…
Use 2 strands throughout unless stated otherwise.
Flower Motif…
You will need the following colours… #3834, #3042, #902, #154
#154: Straight stitch the small stem and then the central lines – they cross over one another like a star stitch.
#3834: Back stitch around the circular petals – keep your stitches tiny to create a nice curve.
#3042: Satin stitch inside each petal.
#902 (1 strand): straight stitch a couple of lines on the top edge of each petal.
Leaf Motif…
#926: Fishbone stitch each leaf and split stitch the stem.
Repeat the leaf and flower motifs all around the edge of the design and week 9 is complete…
