Week 9! It’s the penultimate week
There are 2 blocks for you to stitch this week. Let’s start by stitching…
The Snow Globe
You will need the following colours…
#3021, #3756, #3752, #550, #986, #415
Use 2 strands throughout unless stated otherwise.

To start, stitch the small house as well as the chimney with the #3021.

The rest of the stitching is pretty straightforward by using the colour and stitch guide above.
To stitch the snow – split stitch the main curved lines and then stitch down from this – this will enable you to create a curved effect going downwards as you fill by stitching across.
To finish, #3752: Back Stitch the outer globe sphere.
All you need to do now is complete the block…
- #986: Fly Stitch the green leaves.
- #415: Back Stitch the block border.

Winter Flora
You will need the following colours…
#986, #730, #934, #834, #347, #3866
Use 2 strands throughout unless stated otherwise.

Follow the stitch guide :
When Satin Stitching a shape – no matter how small I always back stitch around the edge first – you can see the berry with outline here in the photo.
Don’t forget to stitch the little stems on the block edge as well.

To stitch the remaining Leaves, using the colours as shown in the photo:
Chain Stitch the leaves and fill each chain stitch with a straight stitch (or 2) then back stitch the stems.

To complete the Block, #3866: Back Stitch
