Splendid Pots
Welcome to Week 7 of the Spring Sampler SAL…
The Stitch A Long has finished but you can still stitch this design – find all the information here… Spring Sampler Stitch a Long
Week 7

Block 7 – Splendid Pots
DMC Thread (Use 2 strands throughout), you will need:
- #371 Moss Green
- #3803 Berry
- #758 Antique Pink
Stitching the Pots…

These pots were stitched with 2 strands of thread however in hindsight I think they would have looked neater with just 1 strand – have a play and see what you think when you are stitching your own.
Stitching the Stems…

#371: The stems are stitched with a continuous fly stitch from the top of the plant to the base. This is the same as you did for the Lazy Daisies in week 3.
Stitching the Leaves…

#758: Satin stitch each of the leaves as in the photo above.
And that’s all there is to completing block 7 – 3 simple stitches – Trellis, Fly and Satin. These look really splendid (!) when complete.

You are more than halfway through completing your sampler now – share your progress on the Facebook group and on Instagram using #stitchdoodlespringsal2020 so everyone can see how your stitching is coming along.
Block 8 will be on Thursday 23rd April – see you then.
Happy Stitching!
