Time to get Stitching…
This week it’s time for the Floral Banners
You will need the following colours… #3021, #986, #666, #3829.
There are 2 strips of the green and red berry banners – the top one has the gold bows and items hanging from it and the bottom one is just the greenery and berries.
Use 2 strands unless stated otherwise.
Colour and Stitch Guide…
For the Greenery…
#3021: using 1 strand split stitch the branches first before adding the leaves.
#986: Chain stitch each leaf and then fill inside with a straight stitch or 2 if your chain loop is quite large.
#666: The French Knots were stitched with 2 wraps around the needle.
For the Bows…
#3829: using 1 strand split stitch the loops of the bow first and then the 2 ends before finishing with the centre square of the bow in Satin stitch.

Complete the second Berry Leaf banner ( below the presents / fireplace / tree ) in the same way.
Now for the Decorations and Lanterns

For the Lanterns… Use the following colours…
3021, #946, #825
- #3021: Satin Stitch the bottom and top of the lantern and then straight stitch around the edge to neaten.
- #946 (1 strand): Straight stitch the flame.
- #825: Satin stitch the connection to the lantern and straight stitch the hanger on the tree.

Poinsettia Bauble:
- #666 (1 strand): straight stitch petals

- #154 Back Stitch Bauble edge and straight stitch across top.
