Fabric Books seem to have such an appeal, and they are a wonderful way of displaying your embroidery stitching. I have been asked many times how to go about this and have finally managed to get around to writing down the instructions for the process I use. This is available as a full PDF pattern with full step by step process photos to make it as simple as possible.

Learn from my mistakes!

Its not as easy as you might think to make a fabric book and relay those instructions in a simple to understand format! I had been using my own way of doing it in a round about sort of way so it created a lot of work streamlining the process!

There are lots of fabric journals and books created which embrace a more ad hoc approach of adding bits in here and there as you go along. I like my books to really finish a project off and have a lovely ‘feel’ to them so they showcase the beautiful designs within.
